Well, a big warm welcome to everybody, all one of you. This page is going to seem a little dull and boring compared to those prepared by all those slackers out there with nothing better to do than prat about on computers all day. But, hey, what the hell, that's what Nurse is here for, to take your mind off of the banality of the writing.
Who am I? Well, here's my life in 200 words or so.
I was born in 1963 and surely the fact that The Beatles fame began in that very same year was no coincidence!... No sir! I was raised in Middlesbrough in the North East of England where I did my level best to avoid work and shirk any form of responsibility until leaving for College in 1982. Three years of even more intense slacking followed. Uno biggo shock awaited in 1985 when I discovered that I had to work, build a career even, to provide the funds for a rich and rewarding lifestyle of beer drinking and general hell raising. Uno eveno biggero shock came when said career had to be in Mining Geology and start in Caerphilly, South Wales (jeepers creepers, I always thought that was just a name some mad farmer made up for a cheese)! After four years of fending off amorous sheep from the Welsh valleys, 1989 saw me move to a lovely picturesque mining/mill town in the North West of England (I get to visit all the beautiful places I do)! 2000 and I'm still here, still beer drinking and still fending off frisky sheep (but the hell raising is a little more circumspect these days)!
